Lance Briggs Pulls Out Of Pro Bowl
Lance Briggs pulled himself out of the Pro Bowl on Tuesday to make room for Greg Ellis, the former Dallas linebacker. Briggs, now a free agent, has become the second Chicago Bears player to withdraw from the Pro Bowl after Tommie Harris who had unfortunately suffered from a knee injury the entire season made way for Darnell Dockett the Arizona Defensive tackle. Briggs, who was the teams franchise player this season, isn’t expected to be back with the Bears next season and is now one of top free agents. Representing the Chicago Bears in the Pro Bowl in Hawaii will be special a special team comprising of Brendon Ayanbadejo and Devin Hester. Furthermore, Glen Pakulak was signed by the Bears in a reserve/future contract a couple of days ago. He started his NFL career in 2003 with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent. Even though he has never appeared in a regular season game he has also spent quite some time with the Atlanta Falcons, Pitssburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and Oakland Raiders. While playing with the Admirals, Glen Pakulak averaged 42.8 yards per punt with the Admirals in the 2006 and 2007 NFL Europa seasons.
