Chicago Bears Review

Injuries that hamper the matches

This looks to be a great year for the Chicago Bears. Not only do they have a motivated coach to lead them, they are quite focused and ready to play this year. Each player brings his own distinct style to the table and their defense is a great one. There have been some injuries and this may be an issue, but their game has come a long way and they are hopeful that this will be their year. It is said that all the Bears need now is consistent playing and a great defense to back it up. The coaches are hoping they can keep the stability they currently have and continue on from there.

Several players are out this year due to injury. Nathan Vasher suffered a groin injury against the Vikings. Darwin Walker is also out with an elbow injury. Fans are wondering if these sidelined players will make it hard for the rest of the team to catch up and play a highly successful team. The coaches think so and the fans will be in the stands cheering them on, no matter what.

Jim Dooley, who played for the Bears from 1968 to 1971, has died. He suffered from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. This is better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He had suffered with it for around ten years before his death.
