Chicago Bears Review

Bears had at least one sack in every game of 2007.

The defensive records of the Chicago Bears for the 2007 season shows that they have bagged a sack in each and every game of the season. Since sacks are considered to be one of the most important official stats of the modern day game, its a good sign that the Bears have achieved this record after a gap of almost 17 years. This is only the third time in the history of the 16 game season that any team has been able to achieve such a record. A total of 41 sacks were achieved by Chicago Bears in the 2007 season, the sixth most in the history of NFL.

The defensive ends Adewale Ogunleye and Mark Anderson of the Chicago Bears were the major contributors to the teams sack success in the 2007 season. Tomie Harris, the Bears defensive tackle had eight sacks in the last season and is the second most in the defensive tackles category for the just concluded season. The Chicago Bears fans were treated to some of the most astonishing tackling games in the 2007 season and with a great defensive line up the Chicago bears are hoping for an even better performance in the coming 2008 season.
