Chicago Bears Review

Former player big fan of Devin Hester

In 2002, Jerry Azumah was a corner back for the Bears and had a thirty yard average and at least two touchdowns for every game. He played in 106 games and only left the game because of a neck and hip surgery that left him unable to move like did before. He is now retired but reports on the Bears as an in-studio analyst for Comcast’s Sportsnet show. He has been watching Devin Hester who Azumah says is really out there doing what he is supposed to be doing. Domination and racking up the points early have made this newcomer an early fan favorite.

Azumah gives his reviews the same credit if they are good or bad. Although he says he has never had any of the Bears complain about any of the pieces he has done on them. If they do a great job, he says so. If the review is bad, he tries to make up for it by turning the negative comments into something positive. Although he is quite pleased and impressed with Hester and his abilities. Azumah says he is glad someone like Hester chose to follow in his footsteps on the team. He hopes the Bears continue to play well and Hester continues to lead them in scoring.
