Alex brown gets two year contract extension

The Chicago Bears defensive end Alex Brown is all but excited with the prospect of playing for his home club for another two years as he has signed a two year contract extension that will keep him in Chicago through the 2011 season. Alex Brown who is at the fag end of his football career is excited and thrilled to joy as he could spend the rest of his career as a Chicago bear player.

Brown finished the 2007 season with a bang in the four final games and had recorded 20 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two loss tackles and five pass breakups. Alex Brown was very upset about loosing his starting job to Mark Anderson and voiced his ill feelings to the media. So, the extension of the contract was shock news to Alex and he said that he was assured of being in the team for the 2008 season. Brown’s record speaks volume of his game and in his six years with the Bears, he has made 75 starts out of 95 games the Bears played. The 28 year old defensive player had two years of contract still remaining with the Bears before signing this extension contract.
