Booker happy to be paying for Bears again
The veteran wide receiver Marty Booker has signed a two year contract to play for the Chicago Bears from where he was traded to Miami Dolphins in 2004. Booker feels relieved that he has got back into the team that he started his NFL career and says that this has given him new energy to improve upon his NFL career. He will be the Chicago Bear’s number one receiver in the coming season, and said that it is very nice to be back in the helm of affairs. He said that he was slotted in the No. 2 position at Miami and was not given enough opportunities to showcase his talents.
Marty Brooks was also approached by the New England Patriots but he felt that he could shine more while playing for the Bears. He said that going anywhere would have simply meant that he would have to accept the role of the No 2 or No 3 player, but with the Bears he will at least get an opportunity of being the No 1 player. Brooks feels that he is still the same old guy that played for the Bears earlier and feels that he has some unfinished business with the Bears which he intends to complete in his second stint.
