Kevin Payne starts preparation for next season
The Bears are yet to start their off season training program, but Kevin Payne the second year safety man has started his training for next season, in the Halas Hall. He missed the last year’s season as a rookie due to a broken arm. So, he wanted to get an early start on his training. He has been seen spending several hours a day doing weight training and ensuring his fitness by running and was trying to improve the play by watching the tapes. He said that he wanted to be the best player and one has to work like the best to achieve it.
Kevin Payne was able to make a good impression on the coaches, during his last season training camp as well as in the pre-season training. But, he couldn’t perform well during the play, as he was affected by injury. He feels that there is so much more to prove and show about his game. He had made use of his rehabilitation time to improve his game. He attended every game and studied the players and tried to learn from their mistakes. Now, Kevin is completely recovered and is looking forward to participate in the games. He is expecting tough competition in the safety position and is happy that it will bring the best out of him.
