Bears to Open the Season at Indianapolis

The Chicago Bears will start the regular season of 2008 with a rematch of Super Bowl XLI against Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, September 7th. The match will be played at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis which has retractable roof and this match will be the first match of the regular season to be played there. The NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced this game as part of Prime Time Schedule of week 1.
This is the Fourth consecutive year that Chicago Bears are going to start the season away from home. This season they have home as well as road games against their rivals Detroit, Minnesota, Green Bay etc. The Chicago Bears will host the games against Saints, Jaguars, Titans, Buccaneers and Eagles. They will also visit Panthers, Texans, Falcons and Rams in this season. Chicago Bears had only 1-8 record when they opened the season on the road. Their sole victory was when they defeated Packers 26-0 in 2006.
