
The NFL released the 2008 season schedule and Chicago Bears fans are pretty much excited with the announcement of the schedule as their team is slotted to play in five prime time slot games including three in their home town at Soldier Field. The season opener for the Chicago Bears is against Indianapolis on September 7th and it is going to be televised live nationally according to the NFL.
Moreover, the Chicago Bears which has received good reviews of its performance in the 2007 season will play three nationally televised home games and NFL has given the live coverage contract to three different networks so that maximum number of Chicago Bears fans will be able to witness the home team’s games. The coach Lovie Smith said that his team is pretty excited about the five prime time slots allotted to them and the team is slated to open its home game in Week 3 of the 2008 season against Buccaneers on September 21.
