Chicago Bears Review

Davis to remain with Bears for one more year

Rashied Davis the restricted free agent wide receiver will be playing for the Chicago Bears for the fourth season running as he signed a one year contract offer from the Bears on Friday. Davis who joined the Bears as a free agent player in the 2005 season played as a corner back in his rookie season and changed to the receiver position in the 2006 season. Davis said that he was pretty much energized to be back in the Bears winning team and expects to turn the tides in his team’s favor this season.

Davis expects to play a few more games than last season as Bears have released Mushin Muhammad and lost Berrian to Vikings. Daryl Drake, Bears coach, who has given good reviews about Davis’s play, is happy to see him back in the squad and he expects Davis to do a lot of things for the Bears this time around.
