Urlacher appears at the mandatory minicamp amid controversies

The Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher participated in the mandatory minicamp on Friday despite entering into a contract duel with the Bears management. Urlacher said that he attended the camp only because it was mandatory one and said that it was the duty of every football player to honor the club’s mandatory camps. Urlacher did not take part in the OTA camps and offseason conditioning camp held earlier and threatened to boycott the mandatory camp. Urlacher said that he has fully recovered from the minor neck injury he suffered and is fully prepared for the season ahead. He is hopeful that an amicable solution is reached for his contract row problems. An Urlacher fanatic should surely purchase tickets to the Bears game well in advance in order to get the best seats in the house.
