Bye-week reflections
Take a deep breath everybody. It’s a bye-week for the Chicago Bears. What are you going to do with your Sunday off? Watch another team? We ought to keep an eye on those Vikings and the Packers. But it’s been a couple of rough weeks in the city of Chicago. Two weeks ago, in Atlanta, Orton and Co. were losing, then winning, and then lost in the last second. Last week featured a lot of touchdowns, but several of them were made in the Special Teams. But on the flip side, we have seen Kyle Orton improve markedly over his performances two years ago. The last few years, everyone has said that the Bears are a defense-based team, but now it seems to have flipped on its head, with the defense making big errors and Orton holding his own. What’s a fan to do, tied for first place in this division, uncertain about what surprise awaits us? This week, we don’t have to do anything.
