Chicago Bears Review

Here we go again..

We’ve seen this before, haven’t we?  A Bears quarterback goes down with an injury to his leg.  We’ve seen this too many times.  Rex Grossman was that guy before.  Now, this years starting QB, Kyle Orton, is out for at least a month with a high ankle sprain.  What now? Hey Rex, you’re back in!  Grossman’s good, but he’s had trouble getting the job done before.  Last year, he was ok, and the year before, I was also rather impressed.  But for some reason, he’s not one to come through in the clutch. But yesterday, he did come through, so perhaps this is a good sign.  He’s not a bad QB, but there are questions about him.  Can we be confident with him in the pocket?  Based on yesterday, his numbers weren’t amazing, but they were acceptable, and he won a game which looked almost lost.  Go them.
