When the Saints go Marching Out
On Thursday, the Saints came to Soldier Field in Chicago to try to fight the Chicago Bears and the cold weather. It was a freezing night. The game was close. The Bears took an early lead and held it until the 4th quarter. But at the same time, the Bear’s kicker, Robbie Gould, tied up the game at the end of regulation and then kicked the winning field goal in overtime. This is the third year in a row that the Bears have spoiled the Saints’ postseason. But we’ve yet to see if it does themselves any good. The Vikings also won yesterday, catapulting them up in the NFC standings and keeping them a game ahead of the Bears. The Vikings do have some tough teams to play coming up but the Bears certainly need to do their part!
