Sweet Revenge?
Yesterday, our NFC North rivals the Minnesota Viking took on the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the playoffs. And lost. The Eagles took the game by 26-14, an impressive score for these two relatively weak teams (at least during the regular season). The Viking’s still green QB threw an interception in the 2nd quarter, which was taken 44 yards back for a touchdown by the Eagles’ Samuels. It was a rough afternoon for Minnesota. But does that make it better for a Bears fan? Yes, the Vikes are kind of annoying, especially when they’re winning and we’re not. Then again, there’s something to be said for keeping the winning in the division. Then you can say “I lost to the champion” rather than “I lost to the team that didn’t win a game in the playoffs”.
