Only about one week after he got fired from the Detroit Lions’ head coach postion, Rod Marinelli may have a bite on another job…right here in Chicago. After being interviewed for the now vacant spot of defensive coordinator, Marinelli and Lovie Smith may work together for the first time since the early 2000s when they were defensive coaches at Tampa Bay. As the title suggests, this may be smart or the dumbest idea in recent history.
