Cutting it up, Cutler
There is a spectre looming on the horizon for the NFL. The Bears need to pay attention to this one because it is one of the best opportunities they’ve had in the entire offseason and they have the possibility to really make something out of it. Quarterback Jay Cutler is in a 14-round fight with his organization, the Denver Broncos. He has formally requested a trade to leave the team because of trade talks that left him upset. This is the chance of the decade for the Bears. We haven’t had a real quarterback in quite awhile. Orton is good, but he’s not a franchise quarterback. He will develop into a good QB, it seems, but we might actually need a real QB. We are the ones stuck out of the playoffs. Try for it! Get him if you can. Aside from the way it may upset Orton, it might be good to at least make it seem like you’re trying to do some trading.
