2001 in Review
It’s been a long time since the 2001 season obviously, but since it’s been a quiet week in Bears-land, it might be fun for us to take a look at that season. This was back in the days of Dick Jauron. For some reason, that season, the team got a 13-3 record and went into the playoffs. They were able to make many comeback wins, often scoring two touchdowns in a minute or two. It seemed like the planets had completely aligned for them and that they were just on fire. They didn’t make it far into the playoffs at all and they were not going to make it back for 4 more years. Jauron was gone after the 02 season. It’s odd to remember those days, and how similar were our hopes back then. Hopefully we can get some good strength this year and into the future!
