Plaxico Burress is apparently not coming to the Chicago Bears according to Jerry Angelo, the GM who makes those decisions. It is well known that the Bears need some more push at the Wide Receiver position, but it’s not exactly clear who they might be able to get. They do have some receivers, but most people think that they need to find something a little more serious. But Plaxico isn’t that. He brings much too much baggage along with him, including his most recent problem of having shot himself in the leg and violated the NYC law in the process. That seems like a bit too much drama for this team, because we need something a little more stable!
