More Jay Cutler
I know you’re all sick of listening to the discussion of Jay Cutler. The Bears had Family Day and it was a lot of fun for everyone involved. It’s nice when teams can do that kind of thing on a regular basis. But Jay Cutler is almost all the news. He has taken some major hits in the media this weekend, I was shocked to see this morning. Both the New York Times and the BleacherReport both say that he’s not the answer to our prayers for a real QB. Perhaps this is true, but at the very least, it seems like we should be able to have a good QB for a little while. We’ve had so many busts with these guys over the last few years, with no consistency at all. Was Orton our consistent player? Nah, Cutler’s going to work out fine. We’ll see if the receivers will turn out better with a quarterback who’s willing to take some risks.
