Defensive Improvement
The Chicago Bears defense has long been known as one of the best in the league. It’s usually their strongest aspect each year, but the last couple of years have seen a drop in some of their abilities. This is due to the aging of some of their best players in the secondary. The defensive line was having trouble. But with their coach Rob Marinelli, they have changed the name of the defensive line to the “rush men”. Their goal is to rush and disrupt plays as frequently as possible. If they can get opposing QBs back on their heels and push themselves to the limit, pursuing longer plays and stopping many plays from happening, they will have done their job in a lot of ways. A good defense might be the missing key for this team this year, if the offense is as good as we’ve been thinking they might be.
