A few Stories
There is a little discussion of the beginning of training camp and what questions might be answered by it. For one, it will show a little bit what kinds of offensive schemes the team is going to have this season. The defense will be able to get moving pretty well too. Meanwhile, Lovie Smith and Barack Obama will meet at a dinner tonight at Penny Prtizger’s place for a fundraising event. Surely they will talk about the Cutler acquisition and other kinds of interesting changes and the expectations of the next season. Finally, the Brett Favre saga up north might finally get decided this week or next week. He will have to decide by July 31, because the Vikings’ training camp begins right after that. This will have a big effect on the Bears’ season no matter what decision he comes to (and it looks like he will be returning). Stay tuned!
