Marinelli
Rod Marinelli is back in the position of line coach for the defense. The D Line has been having a lot of trouble over the last couple of years, because they aren’t the biggest bunch there. But this year they will have a new system ready to go. They will hopefully get some more sacks and some real stops this time around. This crew has had a lot of trouble with this but the new coach will be helping them get better. The coach wont be looking only at sacks in order to judge the effectiveness of the defense. Instead, he will be looking at the rush, the pressure that they put on the other team’s QB and the challenges that they put the rest of the other team under. I don’t know what they were doing before, but they were having lots of trouble getting real stops, so we’ll see what happens this time around.
