Chicago Bears Review

Preseason Game Wrap

We have finally seen the eagerly-awaited Chicago Bears in a real game. This weekend they played a game against the Buffalo Bills. Not that we expect to know much after a singular game, but we can get a general idea of what it might be. In the first game, the Bears weren’t all that impressive. Cutler went 5 for 10 with just over 60 yards in passing. The team also lost. He also had an interception, but that’s the kind of thing that happens sometimes. The team protected him pretty well. We didn’t even see several of the best players (Forte and Olsen) on the field, because no one wants to risk them getting clobbered in the opening preseason game. But the team looked like it might have good potential. It wont be perfect at first and surely there are adjustments to be made. We’ll keep an eye out to see how these players improve over the next few weeks of play.
