Al Afalava
One of the biggest surprises during training camp has been Al Afalava. Even though he’s just the 6th pick this year, he is looking to become an impressive player and has shown himself to be incredibly adept at the beginning of this year. Most rookies don’t know the concentration or have the downfield vision that a person needs at the safety position, but this guy might be big news for this team. The secondary has been having some trouble getting into the groove of things over the last several years. But with a new guy who can bring energy and good visualization to the defense, it might be an especially good year for the team. Now all we need is a good sacker who can knock down Mr. Un-Retire-Favre.
