Hester Back on the Punts
There are reports today that Devin Hester has been doing reps during practice to get him ready to potentially take punts and kickoffs again. It’s going to be exciting if they actually put him in the game this weekend against Denver. The Broncos have a starting QB from the Bears and the Bears have Cutler from the Broncos. That will make it exciting too. But it will be Devin Hester if he takes a punt all the way to the endzone once again that might well create an extra exciting game. Remember how he took that opening kickoff all the way for 6 points in the Super Bowl. That year he took several memorable runs to the endzone, possibly from end to end in some cases. That got the attention of the NFL world and everyone eventually stopped kicking to him. We’ll see if Sunday’s the same.
