Knockout

There will no longer be an easy game in the NFC North for quite awhile. The Detroit Lions gave the Bears a tough first half, which ended up at 21-21. The Lions were hoping to get themselves back into contention, coming off their first win in a season and a half. After the first half at 21-21, though, Johnny Knox, our favorite new player, took the opening kickoff of the half 102 yards for a go-ahead touchdown. In the end, 48-24 was the final score, making it look like a blowout party. The second half was a blowout, but the first half hadn’t been the best for either team. The field was even, but then there were lots of sacks and Matt Stafford got slightly injured near the end of the game. A fun game lightened up a cool Chicago afternoon and we came out with a win that didn’t feel like it was a last-second win.
