Really?

The talk of the town in Chicago this week has been about the possible trade of Terrell Owens. The Buffalo Bills, with their single win, have been making noise that they might end the TO experiment, because it just doesn’t seem to be working. There were possibilities that TO might get sent to the Bears for some kinds of draft picks or something. This isn’t a real thing yet, by the way. There has been no trade amount or deals discussed. Just rumors right now. But why would the Bears do that? They haven’t yet had much trouble, even though they don’t have a top level receiver. Cutler seems to be doing well with the ones he has and the locker room atmosphere seems to be good. TO could be the Milton Bradley of football, so this is why we might want to avoid taking him in. Cutler hasn’t said that he wants TO yet, and there doesn’t seem to be any other interest in it. Just rumors.
