Chicago Bears Review

MNF Win!

When the Bears played Monday Night Football against the Vikings, almost no one expected that they would be able to win it, let alone in spectacular fashion. After all, Favre had already taken out his former team, the Packers, during a Monday Night game. But this week, the Bears and the Vikings went at it. The Bears, in fact, had an early lead going into halftime, but Favre drew the Vikes back swiftly. He ended up tying the game at the end of regulation, although a blocked field goal earlier in the game would have been the difference maker. Then in OT, the Bears went three and out after winning the coin toss. But then the Bears got two sacks in a row and then got Adrian Peterson to fumble. Then Cutler went to work and we saw why he gets paid the big bucks. He threw a 39 yard touchdown to Devin Aromashodu on the next play, getting the win! Go Bears. Hopefully we can get more of these kinds of clutch performances next year!
