He said that it was tough on him first but he knew surgery was the only option. He was thankful to god that this injury took place early in his career and not later and he was young enough to recover from it completely. Williams strained his back July 24 training camp practice in Bourbonnais. He was first administered with anti inflammatory medicine but as it wore off, his situation worsened.

Hester was desperately hoping for signing the new deal with the Bears, which, according to him, took a longer time than he had imagined. Hester was so upset with the management that he did not turn up for the Bears training sessions. Devin Hester is hoping for better things to come his way in the near future. One of the most talked about issues this season with the start of training camps would be the non recieval of NFL Europa roster exemptions. The former developmental league gave clubs the advantage of carriying additional players beyond the 80-man offseason limit into their respective training camp. The decision came after NFL in April voted against the expansion of offseason rosters from the current limit mainly due to financial issues. This will certainly affect the Chicago Bears but will not affect their ticket billings.
